Add dates to weekly view

We don't use the week numbers much in the US. I was wondering if you could add the date to the weekly view. Maybe the date of the Monday of that week. For example, in week 27 that Monday is the 1st. Or somehow add the dates in the timeline so there is a reference to the date. Thinking in terms of dates is more common (at least for me) than week number.
