Custom Field - User upgrade

Hi Team(hood),

I would like to propose an upgrade to the "User" custom variable.

As it stands, it's functionality seems barebones as it competes with the already predefined "assignee" field.

It would be a welcome change that during the editing of the variable, you can filter the available values, so you can make a condensed list of people that can be assigned to items.

As it stands, every person added to a workspace can be assigned to items, be it Workspace Collaborators, Watchers, …

We currently have 7 different workspaces for different teams, but most users are added to every other board to allow syncing of items between workspaces, which makes the assigning of users cumbersome.
