Independent Status for Recurring Items

When I complete the first occurrence of a recurring item and apply a filter that hides completed tasks, all future occurrences disappear, even though they are not completed.

Right now, recurring items don’t let each occurrence have its own independent state or progress.

What I’d like:

• Each occurrence of a recurring item should have its own status and progress, completely independent from the original one.

• When filtering out completed items, I should still be able to see all future, active occurrences.

• Completing one occurrence should not affect the visibility or state of the next ones.

Why it matters:

This would make recurring items usable for goals, routines, and yearly tasks without losing visibility when applying filters.
